Arkeia Software said it has "several dozen" users of its EdgeFort remote office backup appliance product, made generally available in July, and now those users
will have a long-promised capability: centralized remote management. EdgeFort boxes could previously be managed remotely, but not in one console.

What about your job keeps you up at night?
Most recently, it's been the upcoming launch of our EdgeFort appliance solution that we previewed at a recent trade show in San Diego. We'll be making it generally
available at the end of the month. The product is designed to remove the complexity of purchasing, configuring and managing a backup server, a tape drive and all
of the related management software. So far, it's been a big hit in early customer trials, so we've been moving very quickly to get this out to the market.
